A New York City based Director of Photography who specializes in content creation for digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Using his vast experience in filming for multiple aspect ratios, Joseph maximizes the content created from a single concept. For the past 7 years Joseph has collaborated with multiple brands under Hearst inc. from Elle and Esquire to Women’s Health and Cosmopolitan. He's had the opportunity to film Pedro Pascal, David Blaine, Common, Alison Brie, Dave Franco, Druski as well as many others. 

 

Along with being a Director of Photography, Joseph has copious amounts of experience as a video editor and audio recordist. He has shown his ability to be a great asset from pre-production to post-production, with an emphasis on lighting and sound design. He developed lighting designs and filming standards for Women’s Health. He understands SOPs for multi-studio alignment as he understands the importance of consistency across brands. 

 

Outside of video production, Joseph has 10+ years filming weddings on varying scales from intimate gatherings to multi-day multi-location events.

Joseph’s passion for film production started in high school making his way through all positions of the local tv studio as well as high school radio station. Joseph attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia where he has a Bachelors of Arts in Digital Filmmaking & Video Production.  After college he was introduced to his mentor who opened the door to countless opportunities such as NBC Up-fronts, Commercials & short films. In 2015 Joseph was the Sound Recordist for David Blaine's Beyond Magic ABC special. He started as a production assistant, but as he exceeded expectations with each new opportunity, he rose within the ranks to becoming the Sound Recordist.
